  A great gem in the Almaden area of San Jose.
  
  You start by ordering at the window and paying. They give you your drinks and any salad bowl, if ordered. You then go sit. A waitress will come and take your ticket and bring your food when ready.
  
  The salad bar is good. Nothing fancy but nothing horrible. It gets refreshed often with crisp lettuce and nice additions that are kept cool.
  
  The steak is great, especially for the price. They ask how you want it cooked at the time of order and it is cooked very well by their BBQ grill master. You get it with a side of baked potatoes, at least I do, and a really good and large garlic bread.
  
  You can get a lot here from chicken and steak to fish and shrimp. I've been coming here for a while and always get greeted by the friendly staff and always get taken care of. You can't go wrong with this gem!!

  Great food. Piece if San Jose History. This IS your grand parents restaurant and it's awesome. Kind of self serve. Order at the register and they bring the food to you.

  Food here is amazing and cheap! I was surprised this place wasn't more packed. Amazing prices for high quality burgers & steak sandwiches. Definitely coming back here soon.
